Scholarships

Thanks to our generous donors, we were able to give $2,500 in scholarships for the 2022-2023 school year.

Ryan Shoup Scholarship

Coach Ryan Shoup was a business teacher and football coach at Farragut High School. He passed away suddenly and his family established this scholarship in his memory.  We award this scholarship to a Marketing and Business Academy student. MBA students take a variety of business classes as well as academically challenging courses. They are an active member of FLBA or DECA. These students also complete an internship at a local business, and they participate in community service. 

The 2023 Ryan Shoup Scholarship was awarded to Ty Finnegan. Evan will be attending University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Congratulations Ty!!

Pearl and Lafayette Hubbs Scholarship

The Pearl and Lafayette Hubbs Memorial Scholarship was endowed by the late Virginia Palmer, a Farragut High School graduate, in memory of her parents.

The 2023 recipient of this scholarship is Lily Plewniak. Lily was in the Top 20% of her class and was actively involved in the National Art Honor Society, Project U and the FHS Performing Arts Company. Lily started the Wednesday Mornings Girls’ Bible Study at FHS her sophomore year. Lily will be studying Graphic Design and Business Management at University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Congratulations Lily!
